BANNER FOR ‘TRAVERSING’ EXHIBITION

‘Home Made’ was the piece showcased as part of ‘Traversing’ exhibition, result of The Art of Curation workshop at Coventry Artspace.

As an immigrant it is common to try to find a sense of belonging, a journey to find what we leave behind, that sense of what once felt like home.

My biggest piece yet 'Home Made', is an illustrated fabric banner that opens a window into Madeiran culture and traditions and thus the sense of what home back home feels like.
